Mixpanel

How to integrate Mixpanel with Campaignswell

You'll need to create two S3 export pipelines in Mixpanel  one for Events and one for People — and provide your Project Token to your CSM.

Step 1. Create the Events pipeline

  1. Go to Mixpanel > Integrations > S3
  2. Click Create Pipeline
  3. Enter the bucket name provided by your CSM
Note: the name must not contain dashes and must include the word bucket
  4. Set the region to US East 1
  5. Under Data Source, select Events
  6. Open Advanced settings and set the type to Recurring
  7. Save the pipeline

⚠️ If you use a funnel builder (FunnelFox, Web2Wave, etc.): The funnel builder sends its own events - they do not include cw_subscribe or cw_nrc_purchase. In this case, also add all relevant events from the funnel builder (e.g., ff_subscribe, ff_purchase, or however they're named in that tool). Specify which events correspond to subscription start and purchase in your funnel builder setup to your CSM.

Step 2. Create the People pipeline

  1. Repeat the same steps as above
  2. Under Data Source, select People instead of Events
  3. Save the pipeline

Step 3. Get your Project Token

  1. Go to Mixpanel > Project Settings
  2. Find the Project Token field
  3. Copy the value and send it to your CSM — this is required to activate the integration on Campaignswell's side
